If we are able to identify you as a Mammut customer we may, for example, link your activity on our Sites to your Mammut account. This allows us to provide you with a more personalized experience regardless of how you interact with us – online or in store.
Mammut uses cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to personalize the Sites and to help make the Sites more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files, which may be offered by third parties, that are stored on your device and used by your browser.
You can check the details of the technologies used in our Cookies section at the bottom of the page.
How to disable cookies: To disable cookies simply save your acceptance or rejection preferences in the “Privacy Settings” pop up banner which appears when you enter our Sites or navigate to the “Cookies” link at the bottom of our site. Additionally, most browsers automatically accept cookies unless you change your internet browser settings. If you wish to restrict, block or delete the cookies which are set by our Sites, you can generally do this through your browser settings. These settings are usually found in the ‘options’ or ‘preferences’ menu of your internet browser. If you set your internet browser preferences to block all cookies, you may not be able to access all or parts of our site.
If you want to learn more about cookies, or how to control, disable or delete them, please visit http://www.aboutcookies.org for detailed guidance. In addition, certain third-party advertising networks, including Google, permit users to opt out of or customize preferences associated with your internet browsing. Do Not Track
Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt-out of tracking by websites and online services. Except as required by applicable law, Mammut and the Sites do not recognize DNT.
We may use Google Analytics or similar services on our Sites to provide analytics services. These applications are third party services which allow Mammut to measure and analyze the use of its Sites. These entities may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Sites, such as your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used by us and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity. These service providers use persistent cookies for these applications. Mammut will not disclose any individually identifiable information to the service provider for analytics purposes. The service provider may know the identity of a user who has registered with the service provider. The service provider may monitor the use of the Sites by the user and combine this data with data from other websites monitored by the same service provider which the user has visited, and the service provider may use these findings for its own benefits (e.g. control of advertisement). In this case the processing of Personal Information will be the service provider’s responsibility and data will be processed pursuant to the data protection policies of the service provider (for Google see policies.google.com/privacy ). The service provider will provide data on the use of the Sites to Mammut.
We may also work with third parties to serve advertisements on our behalf to you across the Internet as part of a customized campaign on other websites or platforms. We may work with companies such as Google and Meta who use cookies, pixels, hashed email addresses and/or device identifiers to serve ads based on past visits to our Sites and data those third parties may hold based on the interaction with their products in accordance with their privacy policies to assist with advertising related to our Sites. Mammut may disclose individually identifiable information (such as your name or email address) to such companies, i.e. they shall only place a persistent cookie with users of the Sites in order to recognize users and do so in the sole interest of Mammut. This allows Mammut to place aimed advertisements for these individuals on external third-party websites (e.g. in connection with products for which these individuals showed an interest in the online shop). Mammut will not disclose individually identifiable information (such as your name or email address) to the operators of external websites. The companies owning these websites and platforms have their own privacy policies in place, and Mammut’s privacy policy does not extend to the processing activities carried out by these third parties where the latter are acting on their own account. Please visit their respective privacy policies to know how they process your Personal Information. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia have enacted consumer privacy laws that grant their residents certain rights and require additional disclosures (“State Laws”). If you are a resident of one of these states, this section applies to you. Information which will be applicable to residents of Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, and Rhode Island when those states’ privacy laws take effect in October 2025 (Maryland) and January 2026 (Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island) has also been included below. When those laws take effect, the term “State Laws” shall be understood to also include those states’ laws.
Our Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you, as well as our targeted advertising and analytics practices. As required by certain State Laws, below we use two different tables to explain this same information, including the categories of personal information we collect (and have collected over the preceding 12 months), the types of entities to which we disclose such information, and the ways we use each category of information.

We disclose the following categories of personal information to third parties for the purpose of engaging in targeted advertising and other marketing activities, including to expand the reach and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. These disclosures may be considered “sales” or “sharing” or use of personal information for “targeted advertising” under certain State Laws. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We collect personal information directly from you (for example, when you make a purchase or register on the Mammut website), automatically when you visit our Sites or interact with our emails, and from third-party sources such as business partners that co-host events or contests with us.

If you don’t have a Mammut account, but have purchased items online as a guest, we retain information related to your purchases for the same period of time. Examples of ways you may “interact” with us and extend this timeline include the following: making an online purchase, opening or interacting with a marketing email from us, logging into your account and for example writing a product review.
You have the right to request access to, and correction or deletion of, your Personal Information. You also have the right to opt out of “sharing” and “sales” and use of your Personal Information for targeted advertising. If you are a resident of certain states, including California you can opt out by clicking on the Your Privacy Choices link at the footer of our website. In some cases, we may contact the individual who is the subject of the request to verify their identity and/or confirm you have permission to submit this request. To submit a request as an authorized agent, please contact us at +1 802-800-2593

If you are an Oregon or Minnesota resident, you have the right to obtain a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information. To exercise that right, please raise a request via our Contact form .
We provide discounts, rewards, exclusive offers, or other benefits to customers who register on our Sites, subscribe to our newsletters, who participate in our promotional campaigns or surveys and/or who join our loyalty program, details of which are available under this link . These offerings may constitute “financial incentives” under certain State Laws (for simplicity, we refer to these collectively as “financial incentives”). If you decide to participate in a financial incentive, we collect Personal Information from you, such as identifiers (like your name and email address), commercial information (like your purchase history), and may make inferences from that Personal Information which may also independently constitute Personal Information. We may disclose this information to our service providers, contractors, and consultants who perform services on our behalf and to our marketing and advertising partners, including for the purpose of engaging in targeted advertising and other marketing activities. You can opt into a financial incentive by following the sign-up or participation instructions provided, and you have the ability to opt-out at any time by following the instructions set forth in the applicable promotional campaign or contacting us via our Contact Form . If you request that we delete any of your personal information that is essential to providing you with the financial incentive, we will not be able to provide you with the benefits of that program (e.g., if you ask us to delete your email address, we will no longer be able to provide you with early access to sales or other benefits). In some cases, we may provide additional terms and conditions, which we will provide you when you sign up. The value of your personal information is reasonably related to the value of the offer or discount presented to you.
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Under the law, a business must either provide this information or permit California residents to opt in to, or opt out of, this type of disclosure. To opt out of having information about you disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes, please visit the “Your Privacy Choices” link at the bottom of our Sites.
California law requires businesses to disclose information regarding the rights of California residents pursuant to the California Consumer Protection Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) (collectively, “CCPA”). Any terms defined in the CCPA (Cal. Civ. Code Sections 1798.100-1798.199.100) have the same meaning when used in this section. California residents may make the following requests with respect to Personal Information in accordance with applicable law:

The specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
2. Right to Portability
You have the right to request that we provide a copy of the Personal Information we collected about you, in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows transmittal of the data to another entity without hindrance. We may provide this data through via email to the email address provided by you. If you refuse to provide an email address, we will provide this information through other methods of contact which you have given us.

For more information about these and other situations in which we may not delete your Personal Information, please see Cal. Civ. Code Section 1798.105(d).
5. Right to Correct
Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information that we collected pertaining to you. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review the request, taking into account the nature of the Personal Information and the purposes of the processing of the Personal Information to see if we can correct the data.
