The trail to net zero

Driven by the challenge, as runners we know how the power of running as a group can inspire us to go further than if we went alone.

Two runners clad in Mammut gear trail running downhill on a mountain, with an impressive rocky peak and vibrant sunrise in the background.

Combining our lightest styles with our most technical fabrics, discover a 100% decarbonized collection made for the churning uphill grind and the exhilarating downward soar.

Beyond carbon. As part of our quest for ever-higher performance with ever-lower impact, the entire Mammut trail running collection and new documentary GRIT are 100% decarbonized. Going further than carbon avoidance offsets, this means production emissions are not simply compensated for but are physically removed.

To achieve this, we enlisted the help of partners like Climeworks , a pioneer and leader in carbon dioxide removal that uses a technology called ‘direct air capture’ to remove CO₂ from the air. From there, it can be stored deep underground, where it mineralizes through a natural process and transforms into rock.

The result is the safe and permanent removal of CO₂ emissions from the atmosphere, thus eliminating their contribution to climate change.
