Every picture tells a story – and we want to see yours! The Mammut Photo Contest is built to give you the chance to show us your kind of summer – and you delivered. From alpine sunrises to canyon descents, hidden gems to must-see landmarks, your entries captured the wild, the quiet, and the unforgettable. With six unique categories and a once-in-a-lifetime grand prize on the line, this year’s entries went beyond the ordinary.

Now, our panel of world-class judges is deep in the process of reviewing, reflecting, and ideating on the final selections. With thousands of submissions from around the globe—spanning must-see landmarks to hidden gems—the decision won’t be easy. But the excitement is building.

Your Shot at a One-of-a-Kind Photo Adventure with Chris Burkard
This isn’t just a contest. It’s your chance to step behind the lens and into the wild with one of the world’s most iconic outdoor photographers.
The Grand Prize is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with Chris Burkard in the Swiss Alps tailored for photography and exploration. You’ll join Chris for an unforgettable mountain shoot, capturing the kinds of moments most people only dream of — and learning directly from a master of light, landscape, and storytelling.
But that’s not all — the winner will also receive two plane tickets to Switzerland with SWISS, a premium Leica SL2-S camera setup, and a full gear kit from Mammut to keep you mountain-ready.

There are two ways you can submit your photo(s) to the Mammut Photo Contest 2025:
You can upload your photo(s) in one or more of the five categories on mammutphotocontest.com between May 15, 2025, and midnight CEST (Central European Summer Time) on July 15, 2025. We recommend submitting well before the deadline to avoid any issues caused by high upload volumes.
You can submit your photo(s) on Instagram in the category “Check-In Early” by tagging @mammut, using the hashtag #mammutphotocontest, and including “Check-In Early” in the caption of a public profile post between May 15, 2025, and midnight CEST (Central European Summer Time) on June 15, 2025
By participating, you acknowledge and accept the Terms of Participation of the Mammut Photo Contest 2025, which can be found here.
No. Anyone can submit — whether you're an amateur, rookie, or professional photographer.
No. We welcome submissions from creators all over the world.
Yes. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
No. Submitting entries from more than one account violates the Terms of Participation and will result in disqualification.
No. You may submit any photo you've taken in the past—regardless of when it was captured.
No. Photos do not need to include Mammut branding. Any image that meets the guidelines outlined in the Terms of Participation can be submitted.

All submissions will require a clean image without any watermarks/logos. However, Mammut will ensure any publishing of the photos will be clearly credited accordingly.
