When Dani Arnold talks about searching for adventure, you know he means business. The record-breaking alpinist has travelled the globe in the pursuit of the most extraordinary ascents, clocking his unfathomable string of speed records along the way. While his unparalleled accolades no doubt bring Arnold great satisfaction and renown in both the climbing community and public sphere, there’s something else that continues to drive the Swiss mountaineer’s creative pursuit of adventure – and he doesn’t always have to look far to find it. In our new series of short films with professional athletes changing the way they adventure in the face of climate change, Arnold takes on the traverse of Gross Windgällen(3187m) to Gross Ruchen (3138m) in the Glarus Alps with André von Rotz, andopens up about the pure joy that comes from objectives that don’t always resonate with the public.
